Mocksville, NC..........   Veteran golf professional, Matt Cannon of Huntersville,NC, captured the first ever combined Tour event between the Atlantic Coast Golf Tour and the Carolinas Pro Golf Tour this past Saturday at the Pudding Ridge Golf Club.  Matt fired nines of 33 and 32 for a seven under(-7) 65 to win by three shots over Rex Kuramoto and Kevin Atkins.

Pittsboro, NC.........Rex Kuramoto captured his third ACGT title of the year by winning the Inaugural Chapel Ridge Open this past weekend. Kuramoto had rounds of 67 - 71, for a 138 total for two rounds.   Leading money winner, Jimmy Flippen of Danville, VA, finished second with rounds of 70-69, 139.  Kuramoto collected $2,000.00 for his victory and 200 Player of the Year points for winning the third major of the year.
